Sustainable development starts with annual update of risks and opportunities, and defining strategies based on that. We have also internally defined the drivers for being proactive in sustainable development.
We have defined a policy statement in the Sustainability policy and also identified significant aspects for finance, social and environmental indicator categories. The aspects are controlled and monitored through various indicators, see the list below. For each significant aspect we have identified which indicator category according to GRI they best belong to, and which indicators that best represent the aspect.
The management responsibility for the indicator categories means follow up and approval of result, goals and trends.
The indicator categories Environment, Labour and Decent work and Human Rights are managed in the Human Resources & ESH Department. However there are exceptions for indicators related to suppliers. These are managed through Operations Department, sub department Global Sourcing.
Indicator category Product Responsibility is managed in the Product Management Department.
Indicator category Society is managed in the Finance Department except the first indicator (Nature, scope, and effectiveness of any programs and practices that assess and manage the impacts of operations on communities, including entering, operating, and exiting) that is managed in Business Development Department.
